24.03.2008. - DESECI PIJAVICA U OKOLICI DUBROVNIKA
Ciklona Cicero nastavlja sa vremenskim iznenađenjima. Nakon snjegova, obilnih oborina i olujnog vjetra danas su područje Jadrana zahvatile jače grmljavinske nestabilnosti. Zasigurno primat u današnjim neverama na Jadranu zaslužuje ona koja se dogodila na širem dubrovačkom području u kasnim popodnevnim satima. Linija nestabilnosti kretala se obalom prema jugoistoku, a obilježila je jaka konvektivna naoblaka. Šire područje od Duborvnika do Cavtata zahvatilo je jako grmljavinsko nevrijeme u kojem je mjestimice bilo i tuče veličine lješnjaka koja je sasvim prekrila tlo. Iznad 400m nadmorske visine padao je gust mokar snijeg. Uz obilne oborine i snažan vjetar podno olujnih oblaka počele su se stvarati mnogobrojne pijavice. Naši su članovi promatrali ovaj olujni sustav s nekoliko lokacija i u dužini od 7 kilometara zabilježili su 12 pijavica. To sigurno nije konačan broj pijavica jer se nevrijeme nastavilo širiti prema jugu, a novi olujni oblaci stizali su s dolaskom noći. (CROMETEO TIM)

Uh, koja akcija danas popodne! Bio s ekipom na piću pa onda išli popravljati neki laptop. Baš kad smo prolazili kroz Uvalu Lapad (zapadni dio grada), u daljini se vidilo crnilo i odma su pali komentari kako bi moglo bit pijavica. Pošli smo u frenda u blizini gdje smo sređivali laptop i odakle se kroz prozor vidi prema zapadu. Baš u tim trenucima sam se čuo s CM-om i FS-om. FS je pričao o desecima pijavica, a taman kad me CM nazvao jedna od njih se nama naočigled stvorila ispred nosa i gledali smo je kroz prozor! Very Happy Ja vam to ne mogu opisati. Ona se tako brzo stvorila da je to impresivno! U nekoliko sekundi stvorio se lijevak tanak poput konca koji se vrlo brzo spuštao i širio. Izletili smo u auto da pođemo kod mene uzeti foto opremu. Dok smo išli počela je rijetka tuča, ali velikih komada, ma poput onih scena iz Twistera! Nakon 15-ak minuta došli smo na lokaciju za snimanje i imali što ugledati: 3 pijavice na sjeverozapadu, dvije na jugoistoku i jedan veliki srk bez lijevka ravno ispred nas ide nošen jugom! Grmi, sijeva, padaju komadi tuče i okruženi pijavicama. Da sam na filmu to vidio rekao bih da je pretjerano! Točno se vidio crta fronte kako se proteže od daleko na SE do daleko prema NW. Tamo su već bili neki ljudi koji su dok smo došli preprojali 12 pijavica!!! Mi smo praktički i zakasnili jer su se i ove već smanjile u odnosu kakve su bile. Slikao sam možda 3 minute, okinuo nekoliko slika i onda je počela takva tuča i vjetar da smo morali pobjeć autom! Auto nije mogao brže od tri na sat jer se u kratko vrijeme skupilo nekoliko centimetara tuče po putu, sve je bilo bijelo! A zrna su dosezala i do centimetra, mislio sam da će oštetit auto. Strašno nevrijeme, prestrašno! Žao mi je što sam ga uhvatio na samom kraju, ali dobro je i ovo. Eto ispod jedne slike, to je prva koju sam okinuo.
